SecureMyFirm Inc. was formed in 2008 to provide automatic, affordable, ultra-secure online cloud backup service to small firms and solo practitioners. We have expanded beyond backup services to provide business continuation services and industry-leading protection against viruses and malware.
Security
Our data centers are protected from physical and virtual attacks. They are certified for HIPAA, SOC-2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, CJIS, FERPA and Tier IV compliance, the highest rating. Security patrols are on site 24/7/365. Security cameras monitor the premises and the internal areas. Building access is protected by biometric readers and two-factor authentication.
Your data is encrypted with your password as it is backed up. It is encrypted again during transmission to our secure data centers where it is encrypted a third time so that it is encrypted at rest on our servers. At your option, you can retain an exclusive encryption key to your data. That means that we and our data center personnel have zero knowledge of your data.
